HELIAIR HOG ROAST
This weekend past saw the annual hog roast event go off in style. The food was fantastic and in Greek theme as John oversaw the occasion. In total I think there must have been 3-4 lambs and a couple of hogs cooking, supplemented by 6 huge joints of pork. Celebrities were on hand to give the event a little more pazzaz. JK had his R44 parked out front and as you can see from the photo, Capt. Pat Newton and Capt. David Jason shared the moment with Wendy Newton and Angela Hartwell.
Later, Capt. Newton entertained with the help of some of the engineers. For all the photos, go to the photo Gallery
NEW ON THIS SITE
See the new "flight planning" menu. This should take you through all the phases of planning your next flight. You might also like to download your VFR flight planning log from the "downloads" section. This is available in .xls for those who want to complete on a computer and in .pdf for those who want to use a more traditional tool....a pencil.
There are also a couple of weight and balance calculators available in "downloads" for the R22 and R44.
TRIAL LESSON DONE - WHAT NEXT ?
The most popular second stage is to enrol yourelf on our PPL(H) Starter programme. This provides you with a CAA pilot registration number, logbook, initial reading material, and some more flying time. For more information on the PPL(H) course, go to the courses menu.

See PPL(H) Starter package in the Training Costs menu.
